An expatriate New Yorker now living in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Richard Shindell is a meticulous craftsman of song whose 8 studio albums and 2 live recordings have been revered by critics and fans alike. Innovative, original and occasionally spiritual, Shindell’s songs weave tales that interchangeably champion the downtrodden, exalt the disaffected or wax empathetic to those lost to society’s fringes.Richard’s performance is in support of Healing Companions, Inc, a non-profit organization that through the benefit of psychiatric service dogs, is dedicated to assisting individuals severely limited in their ability to function to lead lives with dignity, productivity, freedom and self-reliance. The evening serves as a fundraiser for the organization to help with the costs to rescue shelter dogs, train them, and place them into service.Requested minimum donation will be $35/pp and will include beverages and snacks. (NOTE: Only those that register thru this event page will be guaranteed admittance for the performance. All seats are general admission.) A raffle to support Healing Companions will be available during the evening.Doors will open at 6:30pm.
