Another lovely match has begun with lots of training ahead. Asher is a delightful psychiatric service dog in training that Tim & Brenda Goodnight from Goodnight Farm Rescue donated. Healing Companions, Inc. is indebted to them and looking forward to Asher transforming Eli’s life as his psychiatric service dog.
Stay tuned and enjoy the photos by our photographer Liz Adams.
Stephen and Diana met and bonded immediately! We are so thrilled with how smoothly this adoption has and continues to go thanks to the support of so many folks. We hope you enjoy the photos taken by our volunteer Michael Hartman.
PSD Sage and her new mom Cyndi
Welcome Sage in joining Cyndi’s family to be trained to be Cyndi’s Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD). We are so grateful to Jennifer Mauger who helped place Sage with us. Her owner felt she would be an amazing service dog so she decided to rehome her so she could share her desire to be trained as a service dog. We are so honored to have Sage join Cyndi on her journey forward. Thanks everyone that helped make this happen!
Another successful meet, greet and adoption for Brody, a shelter dog that received his basic training from one of the inmates we trained. Brody and Finola got along beautifully and had a wonderful play time together and Brody captured Tracy’s heart. I am thrilled to
