Healing Companions, Inc would like to thank the Gregory’s for their very generous donation in memory of Elena. We are honored to be chosen for such an important tribute. In response to their loss, Janet and Tony Gregory have started a foundation in her honor.

My name is Janet Gregory. My husband, Tony and I tragically lost our beautiful daughter, Elena Nicole, on April 11, 2019. Elena suffered from severe anxiety, panic attacks and depression. She always cared about those less fortunate than herself, and the stories are numerous on how she provided support to others, all the while suffering herself. She had a love for animals, especially dogs. Our own rescue dog, Zola, has provided us all with emotional support while trying to move forward since this great loss.
After Elena’s passing, weset up a 501(c) fund in her honor through the Community Foundation of New Jersey. Our hope for this fund is to keep Elena’s passions alive through supporting other established non-profit organizations to help to make the world a better place. During my research, I came across your Healing Companions website. We feel that your cause and how it helps so many fits perfectly with what we are trying to do.
On behalf of CFNJ-Elena Gregory’s “Arms Wide Open” Fund, we have made a donation toward your honorable cause. If there are other ways in which we can provide support, we would be very interested to hear about them.
