This video demonstrates how your donations helped fund the costs of certifying the inmates in Canine First Aid and CPR so that upon release these credentials can assist them in gaining employment in the vast field of dog careers. Getting a certification of completion cost Healing Companions, Inc. $60 per inmate and we have 20 inmates in our program. We already have two trainees who have been released and found jobs using the skills our program provides. Our mission has 3 prongs, rescuing shelter dogs, transforming the lives of those living with mental illness and working with inmates to develop job skills.
